How to change the cPanel style

Modifying the style of the cPanel administrative interface allows you to alter its appearance and feel.

Adjusting the style
It may take some time to become acclimated to the Paper Lantern theme if you have used earlier cPanel versions. Compared to the previous x3 theme, Paper Lantern is entirely different in appearance and feel. Nonetheless, there is a Retro style that resembles the x3 theme and can facilitate the adjustment to the new UI.
As an alternative, you might just choose to alter the cPanel default appearance to a different design.

To alter the style, take the following actions:

1. Log in to cPanel.
2. Under PREFERENCES, click Change Style:
   
3. Select the style you want to use:
   • To emulate the older x3 theme, locate the Retro style, and then click Apply. The new style takes effect immediately.
   • To use a different style, click Apply for that style. The new style takes effect immediately.
