About WHMCS licenses

There are two types of WHMCS licenses available: branded and unbranded. The branded license has WHMCS branding on customer-facing pages. The unbranded license enables you to replace the WHMCS branding with branding for your own business. You must choose the type of license you want when you order.

Ordering the WHMCS license

To order a WHMCS license for your account, follow these steps:

1. Log in to the Customer Portal.If you do not know how to log in to the Customer Portal, please see this article.
2. On the SERVICES menu, click VIEW AVAILABLE ADDONS:
3. Under Product Addons, select the license you want, and then click Order Now. The Review & Checkout page appears.
   The following WHMCS licenses are available:
   • Starter: 250 clients, “Powered by WHMCS” branding.
   • Plus: 250 clients, no branding.
   • Professional: 500 clients, no branding.
   • Business 1000: 1000 clients, no branding.
   • Business 2500: 2500 clients, no branding.
   • Business 5000: 5000 clients, no branding.
   • Business 10000: 10000 clients, no branding.
   • Business 20000: 20000 clients, no branding.
   • Business 30000: 30000 clients, no branding.
   • Business 50000: 50000 clients, no branding.
   • Business 100000: 100000 clients, no branding.
   • Business Unlimited: Unlimited clients, no branding.
   If you do not see these options, then your current hosting package does not support adding a WHMCS license.
4. Click Checkout. The Checkout page appears. If you have an Hostvento Hosting account and are logged in, the personal and billing information appears automatically. Otherwise, complete the fields.
5. Under Payment Details, select the payment method that you want to use.
6. Select the I have read and agree to the Terms of Service check box.
7. Click Complete Order. After the order is processed, you receive an e-mail message from Hostvento Hosting that contains the license key and instructions for installing WHMCS.
