Learn to Establish an FTP Connection to Your Hosting Account

You’ll need your FTP login information in order to link your hosting account. Go to your Client Area -> My Accounts at the Information & Settings tab to obtain your FTP access credentials. Your cPanel username and password are the same as your primary FTP login information.

You will need the below details:

• FTP Hostname – It is the hosting server name.
• FTP Username – Your cPanel username and main FTP username are the same.
• FTP Password – Use your cPanel password.
• The FTP port – The FTP port is by default set to 21.

New FTP users can also be created in cPanel, under FTP Accounts.
