Does Hostvento Hosting support the mod_pagespeed module?

The mod_pagespeedThe objectives of the Apache module are to enhance website performance and accelerate page loading. Google is the one who develops it. The following account categories can ask for mod_pagespeed to be installed:

• Managed VPS (non-Turbo Boost accounts)
• Managed Dedicated Server (non-Turbo Boost accounts)

To have the mod_pagespeed module loaded on your server, submit a support request through the Hostvento Hosting Customer Portal at https://secuire.hostvento.com.

The mod_pagespeed module is incompatible with managed accounts for Turbo Boost. There are two reasons for this:

• Turbo Boost servers employ the LiteSpeed webserver, however the mod_pagespeed module is limited to use with the Apache web server.
• The mod_pagespeed functionalities are already present in the LiteSpeed web server. Installation on Turbo Boost servers would be superfluous and duplicate functionality, even if it were possible (which it isn’t).
