Cron Jobs (cPanel)

You may automate certain tasks or scripts on your website with Cron Jobs. A command or script can be scheduled to execute at a given time each day, week, etc. To clear up disk space, you may, for instance, set up a cron task to remove temporary files once a week. schedulers who will do your task on a certain day and hour.

To utilize cron jobs efficiently, you must be well-versed in Linux commands. Before implementing a cron job, have your hosting administrator review your script.

Cron Email

Send an email every time a cron job runs. You can have cron send an email every time it runs a command. If you do not want an email to be sent for an individual cron job you can redirect the command’s output to /dev/null like this: mycommand >/dev/null 2>&1

Set the email address on which you wish to receive notifications.
