Ftp error 553 Disk full

I’m receiving the following issue when I try to upload certain files from my FTP account:

“553 Disk full – please upload later” is an FTP error.

However, my account’s quota indicates that we have enough room for data uploads. So why did this mistake arise?

Hey everyone, this is the fix.
There is no more space available on the server, which is the cause of this error. Next, connect in to your server using SSH and verify the MaxDiskUsage as shown below:

#grep MaxDiskUsage /etc/pure-ftpd.conf

MaxDiskUsage 90 Then increase it to 99 and restart pure-ftpd. If it’s not working then check the disk space of server with following command and delete the unnecessary files, data from your server.

#df -H

df displays the amount of disk space available on the file system containing each file name argument. Filesystem, Total Disc Size, Total Disc Used, Total Disc Available, Use% – Total Disc Use in %, Mounted on – Where do you mount this Filesystem.
e.g

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on

/home 144G 59G 78G 90% /
