How to Change the Default Currency in PrestaShop 1.6.x ?

The pricing that you have chosen for your goods and services on your website is represented by the default currency. When someone visits your website for the first time, they will see the default currency, therefore you should carefully modify it.

Step 1: Login to PrestaShop Admin Panel

Step 2: Navigate to Localization => Currencies

Step 3: From the drop down you can select the currency option and click on save.

Refresh your website in the browser to check the new default currency.
