How to Create an Autoresponder in DirectAdmin?

Emails with autoresponders are ones that are automatically sent to every sender.

Creating these types of messages with DirectAdmin is simple because autoresponders are configured for individual email accounts.

Steps to Create an Autoresponder in DirectAdmin

1. Login to your DirectAdmin account.

2. Go to the Email Manager section on the dashboard and click on Autoresponders.

3. There will be a list with the autoresponders that are active right now.

Note: There will not be a list if it is your first time, as seen in the screenshot below.

To create an autoresponder, click on CREATE AUTORESPONDER button on the top right side of the panel.

 

4. Enter your message in the Responder Message field and fill in the Responder Address, Subject Prefix, Content-Type, and Reply Frequency fields. By entering an address in the “Send a CC to” option, you can even add a CC to the email. Next, select the SAVE option located at the lower right corner of your screen.

5. A confirmation message: “Autoresponder created” will be displayed and, you will see the newly created autoresponder on the list.
