How to Disable IP Validation with DirectAdmin?

Prior to logging in, the Web hosting requires that IP addresses be checked. The problem arises when a user repeatedly logs in using a different IP address, and the system marks the login attempt as invalid. You must turn off DirectAdmin’s IP validation as an admin with SSH access in order to fix this.

The setting for IP checking in DirectAdmin is always enabled, by default:

disable_ip_check=0

Because IP checking restricts login access to a specific IP while submitting the login request, it is essential for server security. Because of this, we suggest that you leave the check enabled unless absolutely required.

To Disable IP Validation

Run the given command to disable the IP checking:

/usr/local/directadmin/directadmin set disable_ip_check 1 restart

Until the setting is not reverted back the same way DirectAdmin will disable the IP validation for its login.
