How to download Softaculous backups

You may create, restore, and download backups using Softaculous’s user-friendly web interface. To download the backup using your web browser, follow the instructions below.

1. Login to cPanel, go to Software/Services tab and click on Softaculous
2. Click on the “Backups and Restore” option, it’s on the top right corner menu, the icon looks like a zipped folder
3. You will see the list of all backups which you had previously created
4. To download the backup click on the first blue arrow icon

It is recommended that you use an FTP client to download the backup. Open an FTP client and navigate to the softaculous_backups folder.
