How to resolve the error ‘The OCSP server has no status for the certificate’?

“Online Certificate Status Protocol” is what OCSP stands for. If the OCSP is unable to ascertain the secure certificate’s state, Mozilla Firefox will display the following error message:

The OCSP server has no status for the certificate.

This error can be avoided by going to the Mozilla Firefox settings > Edit > Preferences from the menu.

When the ‘Preferences’ window opens, click on the ‘Advanced’ tab and then select the ‘Encryption’ sub tab.

On the next page click on the ‘Validation’ option and make sure that this check box is not selected : ‘Use the Online Certificate Status Report (OSCP) to confirm the current validity of certificates’.

Click on ‘Ok’ for saving the settings and close the preferences window.

After this, the pages will load perfectly.
