How to Restart cPanel Service on a Server via SSH?

You can run core commands and perform system configurations with SSH access. Using SSH, you may even restart or reboot the cPanel service on your server.

Rebooting server services is necessary after changing core settings or the service is experiencing problems.

To Restart cPanel Service

1. Log in to your SSH access.

2. Run this command:

/scripts/restartsrv_cpsrvd

That’s it! The SSH command will trigger the service reboot for cPanel on your server.
