Learn to Generate PDF Files with PHP

You may create PDF files with the FPDF PHP class, which doesn’t require any other PHP libraries.

It may be downloaded for free from the download area of its official website. Its download package includes many usage instructions along with all the necessary files.

The package may be unpacked after being uploaded via FTP or File Manager in cPanel to your Hostvento account. The extracted items should then be placed in any folder on your account; this folder will eventually become the FPDF installation folder.

The following PHP code serves as a simple example of how to use FPDF; to use it, choose the FPDF package from the folder containing the PHP file containing the code:

Suppose you have downloaded and extracted the FPDF package within a folder called ~/public_html/fpdf/.

Additionally, you can create a new PHP file called toPDF.php within the same folder and insert the above code. Then save the file and try accessing it through your browser:

http://yourdomain.com/fpdf/toPDF.php

After the execution, the PHP script will generate a PDF file in your browser.
