An internet-useable address or combination of words or names is called a domain name. Your domain name is the string of characters that appears in web browsers after “www.” and in email addresses after the @sign.

How does it works ?
Each computer or server that is linked to the internet has an individual IP address (IP stands for internet protocol), which is made up of a unit set of numbers, such as 195.212.21.221. You need to know a computer’s IP address in order to connect to it over the internet. Because these IP addresses are difficult to remember, domain names are utilized instead. The IP address of your server, which is either located in a datacenter or connected to the internet, is where the domain name you type into the browser gets resolved.The domain name system (DNS) automatically converts the domain name typed into the browser into the appropriate IP address.
