How to enable SVG file support in WordPress

What is an SVG file? 

A vector image, as opposed to a JPG picture, is called a Scalable Vector Graphic (SVG). Rather, they are made up of a piece of data that resembles a schema and a set of instructions that produce a two-dimensional picture. Because of this, SVG is very scalable and its size may be altered without compromising the quality of the picture. Because SVG files are smaller, they load more quickly. Moreover, Google indexes them, which helps with search engine optimization (SEO) for the website. It’s crucial to understand, though, that SVG pictures work better for icons, logos, and drawings rather than for photos.

Installing SVG Support in WordPress

To use SVG Support Plugin in your WordPress website, follow these steps:

1. Log in to WordPress as the administrator.
2. On the Dashboard in the left sidebar, click Plugins, and then click Add New:
3. Search for “SVG Support” click Install Now, and then click Activate the plugin:
   
4. On the Dashboard in the left sidebar, click Settings, and then click  SVG Support:
   
5. On the Settings page, check on the required configuration for SVG file support, and then click Save Changes:
   
6. Upload an SVG file to the media library and embed it to the page.
