How to Import Users from a CSV file to WordPress

You may import users from a CSV file by using the plugin “Import users from CSV with meta.” It has a delimiter auto-detector and configurable user meta that can be automatically loaded from a CSV file. Additionally, all imported meta data is editable in the user profile, and each imported user can get an email. This post will explain how to import Users into a WordPress website using a CSV file.

Installing and configuring  the Import users from CSV with meta plugin

To install Import users from CSV with meta plugin, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your WordPress site with an administrator account.
2. On the Dashboard in the left sidebar, click Plugins, and then click Add New:

4. Search for “Import users from CSV ”, click Install, and then click Activate the plugin:
   
5. To access this plugin, click on the Dashboard in the left sidebar, click on Tools, and then click  on Import and export users and custtomers:
   
6. In the Import tab, you can upload the file to be able to import the users, as well as control parameters such as default role, send mail, and others. Click on Start importing:
   
7. Upon a successful user list import , the summary of the information imported is shown.
   
8. Click on Users  to verify the new users from the import process:
