Account activation

Because of the large amount of fraudulent orders we receive, all orders go through a strict screening process. We try to activate all new accounts within 24 hours, but the turn-around time is usually much quicker—about 15 minutes if the order passes our fraud check. If you do not receive your Welcome e-mail after 24 hours, check your e-mail application’s Spam or bulk mail folder. If you still cannot find your Welcome e-mail, please submit a support ticket on the Hostvento Hosting Customer Portal at https://www.hostvento.com/

Billing cycles

You select a billing cycle when you order a hosting package. You can choose to be billed monthly, or you can pre-pay for a 6, 12, 24, or 36-month period. We offer significant discounts when you pre-pay for a package.

Anti-fraud measures

Every order is put through a fraud detection service during the checkout process to help us get rid of fraudulent transactions. This service occasionally marks a transaction as possibly fraudulent. We will request verification of your identity and payment method if this happens to you. This can entail requesting a copy of your credit card or a copy of a legitimate identity card.
