How to Clear Smarty Cache in PrestaShop

Due to outdated cached data, updates you make on the PrestaShop website frequently do not appear on the live website. You can use the PrestaShop dashboard or manually clear the cache to resolve this problem.

Login to your PrestaShop Admin Panel
Go to Advanced Parameters => Performance.
Select Force Compilation and disable cache and save changes.
Refresh your website in the browser to see the changes you made.
The PrestaShop cache can be cleared manually from the PrestaShop installation directory.
To clear the cache manually delete the content of below folders:

• cache/smarty/compile
• cache/smarty/cache
• img/tmp

Delete everything except index.php file.
Refresh your website in the browser to see the changes you made.
