What is Coolify and why run it on a VPS?
Connect a Git repository and Coolify builds and runs the application in Docker, with SSL certificates and automatic deploys on every push. It also starts databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL and Redis in a few clicks.
Developers use it to stop paying per-app platform fees. One VPS can run many projects.
How to set up Coolify on your VPS
- Order a VPS with Ubuntu LTS and at least 2 vCPU.
- Run the official Coolify install script as root.
- Open the dashboard on port 8000 and create the admin account.
- Connect your Git provider and add your first application.
- Point your domain to the server and let Coolify issue the SSL certificate.
