What is web hosting?
Web hosting is a rented space on a powerful computer called a server. It stores your website and shows it to visitors all day. Think of it as renting a shop so people can come and visit.
Before you order
- Think about what you want to build. A blog, a shop or a small business page need different amounts of space.
- Decide on a domain name. A domain is your website address, like
myshop.com. - Have a payment method ready.
- Use an email address you can open. Your login details will be sent there.
Steps
- Open the Hostvento website in your browser.
- Look at the hosting plans. Read what each one includes.
- Pick the plan that fits your site. If you are unsure, ask support.
- Click the order button on that plan. It may say Order Now or Get Started.
- Choose a billing cycle if you are asked. This is how often you pay.
- Enter your domain. You can register a new one or use one you already own.
- Add any extras you want. You can skip anything you do not need.
- Click Continue and review your order. Check the plan, the domain and the total.
- Fill in your name, address and contact details. If you have an account already, log in instead.
- Choose how to pay.
- Tick the box that says you agree to the terms. Read them first.
- Click Complete Order.
- Pay the invoice if one is shown.
After you order
- Check your email. A welcome message arrives with your hosting details. Check spam if you do not see it.
- Log in to the client area.
- Open Services and click My Services to see your new plan.
Tip: Save your welcome email. It holds your login information.
